We have have recently completed an amazing refurbishment of a much-loved grade II listed community library by blending the facade perfectly between old and new. The library was built in 1903 and is one of the first Carnegie funded Libraries, it sits as a prominent Civic building on Plumstead High Street. We were appointed by Osborne to design, supply and install new curtain walling, SFS, single-ply roofing, hot melt roofing and bespoke glazed roof lanterns.
Main contractor Osborne commented on working with us:
“NA Curtain Walling Ltd has played a key role in giving a grade II listed Library a new lease of life, creating a new facility for the community of Plumstead. The contemporary design and installation to the existing building and new extension needed to consider the requirements set out by English Heritage and the architect’s vision. NACWL’s technical knowledge and support were key to arriving at the best solution and the project team were pro-active in ensuring that a quality #install was achieved, particularly when dealing with some challenging interfaces with other trades. During the course of this project, we have been able to develop our relationship with NACWL and I would be pleased to recommend your services.”
