We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed by Osborne Construction Limited to design, supply and install new curtain walling, SFS, single-ply roofing, hot melt roofing and bespoke glazed roof lanterns to this prestigious development within the heart of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Plumstead Library was originally built in 1903 and was one of the first Carnegie funded libraries, sitting as a prominent civic building on Plumstead High Street. The library’s use has gradually diminished throughout the past century, with only two rooms being open to the public. The redevelopment includes a new contemporary extension, that combines a library, leisure and cultural facilities all under one roof. The refurbishment to the grade 2 listed building will incorporate traditional techniques to maintain the building’s heritage.
We look forward to seeing this wonderful old building getting a new lease of life!
